President's Message
Dear Fellow Iqbalians,
Assalam-o-Alaikum and warm greetings to all members of the AIMCAANA family. It is with deep humility and immense gratitude that I step into the role of President for the year 2025. I must admit, this was not a path I actively pursued, but I am honored by the trust and confidence placed in me by my peers and mentors. I am humbled to lead this dynamic organization and contribute to its legacy of service, growth, and excellence.
Student & Faculty Education:
ACLS/BLS course implementation in conjunction with AHA for faculty and medical students.
Availability of online educational resources including UpToDate and channels provided through Higher Education Commission of Pakistan at the college campus library.
Development of research collaboration with AIMC students and staff, teaching research methodologies, working to develop basic IRB structure.
Scholarships:
- Need-based scholarships for deserving students at AIMC
- Merit scholarships for students with extraordinary academic achievements.
- Loans for AIMC graduates applying for residency in US
Nursing Education:
Advanced training and rotation for Nursing staff at specialty hospitals in Lahore including PKLI, Shaukat Khanum and other similar Health care facilities.
Special attention to Language/Communication Skills and Computer Technology skills.
Initiation of Nursing Excellence award for outstanding academic performance and exceptional patient care.
AIMCAANA Website:
Upgrade AIMCAANA website with real time content, project details (Past & Current), some content availability for members only with log in option.
I believe that by working together and supporting one another, we can achieve great things and make a meaningful impact. I look forward to collaborating with everyone and making the coming year a success.
