Kashaf Sherafgan, MD FACS is a Board-Certified General Surgeon Surgeon and Fellowship trained Cosmetic Surgeon and practices at Kashaf Cosmetic Surgery in San Diego, California. After graduating from Allama Iqbal Medical College, she soon after moved to New York City where she did scientific and clinical research at Mount Sinai Hospital. Following her internship in General Surgery at Mount Sinai, she completed the General Surgery residency at Tulane University Hospital, New Orleans. Dr. Sherafgan went onto to do the highly competitive and sought after Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship in San Diego. Currently she is in private practice in San Diego. She is Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. She has received Vitals Patient Choice Award, Compassionate Doctor Award, and Castle Connolly Top Doctors Award for her work. She has taught and trained medical students and Surgical Residents at Mount Sinai Hospital NY, Tulane University and AT Still University and international students. She has a strong passion for helping young physicians achieve their goals. She also provides pro bono surgical services internationally. She is actively involved in AIMCAANA especially with the Young Physicians Committee, Iqbal loan program, fund raising and publications. If not in the operating room, you can find her in museums and art galleries, reading biographies, gardening, playing with her fur-baby, traveling with her husband, and being an avid foodie. She attributes her accomplishments to her patients’ and parents’ prayers
